Potassium sorbate is a chemical additive. It's widely used as a preservative in foods, drinks, and personal care products. It is an odorless and tasteless salt synthetically produced from sorbic acid and potassium hydroxide.
Potassium sorbate is white to pale yellow scaly crystals, crystal particles or crystal powder, odorless or slightly smelly, long-term exposure to the air is easy to absorb moisture, oxidation decomposition and discoloration. Potassium sorbate is soluble in water, 67.6g/100ml(20 ºC); 5% salt water, 47.5g/100ml(at room temperature); 25% sugar water, 51g/100ml(room temperature). Dissolved in propylene glycol, 5.8g/100ml; Ethanol, 0.3g/100ml. PH7 ~ 8 of 1% potassium sorbate solutionITEM | SPECIFICATIONS |

As a high-effective preservative recommended by FAO and WHO, Having a stronger inhibition effect than sterilization effect,Potassium Sorbate can effectively prolong the preservation time of the food without changing the original flavor. The antisepsis effect of Potassium Sorbate is 5-10 times as much as that of sodium benzoate.
Sodium benzoate is packed by 25kg compound bag with plastic bag inside.
